INVESTORS BY TRADE AGREEMENT
The E-2 visa is for national investors of a country with which the United States has a commercial agreement and comes to invest a substantial amount in a business or company in the United States. The beneficiary of this visa must only dedicate himself to the process of investing, developing and / or directing this new company. The investor must invest the capital, which is legally owned and controlled, in said business enterprise subject to profit or loss.
L-1 TRANSFER OF EXECUTIVES OR MANAGERS WITHIN THE SAME COMPANY
The L-1A nonimmigrant visa classification allows US employers to transfer an executive or manager from one of their affiliated foreign offices to one of their offices in the United States.
This visa allows a foreign company, which does not yet have branches in the country, to send an executive or manager for the purpose of forming a corporation. Having this visa, the beneficiary can apply for visas for her spouse and children under 21 years of age with the possibility of obtaining work permits for them.
